Oh, and I can tell you why they want you to buy off any platform. It’s pretty much the same scam everywhere. They want you to send the money as personal/friends/family, rather than sending it as a business transaction. They do that because when payments are sent like that, there is no protection for the buyer or seller. Once you send the money, it’s gone. The buyer can’t get it back. And if you’re the seller, you shipped the product, and because you didn’t do it as a business transaction, you technically didn’t have a sale and you gave away your product.

I worked in the claims department at PayPal during Covid and literally every call I took was a scam from either a seller on Facebook marketplace, or an ad from Facebook. I assume everything for sale on Facebook is a scam until proven otherwise. Congrats on the new decorating job. Hopefully you do film SOMETHING for it. Absolutely report those comments. It's a scam, and against TOS to complete sales off the app for Poshmark. As for selling apps taking cuts, I really like Mercari! I know more people are on Poshmark, but Mercari takes a smaller cut and you have more freedom to choose your shipping company like USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc. Just some food for thought!

Yes that’s common on Postmark esp on accounts that look new or don’t have a ton of listings, they should be reported. They want to do the transaction off postmark because they think they can somehow get a free item or bypass the seller support ect. But as a seller it’s important have all the transactions staying on Poshmark and you are protected from getting too many returns unless the condition of the item is not as described. The fee is annoying nut at least you do get some benefit from it.

I used to sell on etsy and know sellers now, and yes if a listing goes live and RIGHT AWAY you are just getting blasted with emails or comments, etc..... it is a scam.

I do Poshmark and I won’t answer anything that isn’t done directly through Poshmark. I would report them, I believe they are trying to purchase outside of Poshmark because it would be easier for them to scam you as far as saying they didn’t receive the product or the product wasn’t as described. As far as the pictures being blurry, I would just add the pictures they are asking for to the original post and let the person know you added new photos. I hope this helps you!

OMG the SAME thing happened to me on poshmark. I think it is a scam. I almost fell for it but I know my photos arent blurry and Ive sold and purchased on there before. When you mentioned this I went back and reported the person and blocked them.

I dont have a baby so take with a grain of salt but i feel like the electric nail filers could be a potential danger because of the speed of the filer. I think an almost one year old would move their hands to much too. Maybe try a regular nail filer. Maybe even try to use a regular one when she is down for a nap. You probably only need to swip the nail filer like onces. By the way always use a filer going in one direction only. I know I am a hypocrite but I know that this the proper way to file to prevent damage.

Hey Lisa! I love the vlog style!! It’s like hanging out with another mama friend. ❤ I sell off of FB BST groups (using PayPal) and Mercari. I have found that people will comment on Mercari and wanting to do it the PayPal route. It’s harder for me though, because of then needing to buy the shipping labels and trusting the goods and services option of PayPal. It’s doable, but sometimes using Mercari as a platform provides those services quicker. So although money is transferred quicker with PayPal, there’s a lot more time required from the seller. The buyer tries to scoot by the fees but it’s only benefitting them and makes me, the seller, question if they’re legit or a scam. That’s kinda my take on it. You’ll get scams at times either way, but with the selling platforms it can be easier to get back your money 80-90% of the time. 🤷‍♀️ Looking forward to all your video ideas mentioned!!
